Web designing was one topic we tackled back in high school. If I remember right, we had to deal with HTML before, designing sites using tables and stuff. After three years off high school, I can still remember the basics of HTML, specially the table tags, but the rest like putting marquees and specifying how they should appear on the page is but a distant, vague memory to me. My computer teachers said before a web designing company makes a lot of money, especially now that most establishments promote their products using the internet, which is a lot cheaper compared to our conventional TV and news ads. Establishments realize that a good website is a plus in making their products look appealing to the potential buyers, so they invest in a good web designing company, or person. So if I had studied better, I could have been putting up company sites and earned good money from it, instead of designing my personal sites which, well, talk about me and I don’t pay myself much money.
