Birmingham, which is placed in the West Midlands, is the 2nd biggest municipality in the UK. Indeed, the city's vast population is second only to that of London.
Much of Birmingham town centre was destroyed along the 2nd World War, and ugly replacement constructions were hastily erected. Howbeit, since the 1990s, Birmingham has been undergoing many radical changes and a number of the post war constructed dwellings have been retrieved.
